Have been coming here for years and the food all in all has always been pretty good. However, avoid coming here on Saturday nights because the band is so excruciatingly loud that you will want to leave asap. No food is ever worth losing hearing for.

Probably the best Filipino food you can find on this side of the earth, seriously. Gerry's grill is served family style and you can find all the common dishes from the Philippines such as lechon kawali, pancit canton, lumpia, pork sisig and plenty more! They also have less commonly known foods on their menu such as Bicol Express, Kare kare, bangs just to name a few. I've tried all of these mentioned above and it's all amazing! It's like stepping through a portal into the Philippines. Excellent and attentive service with an awesome atmosphere. They also have a bar and live music playing the popular Filipino hits! (check their schedule for live music).

All the entrees here are family style-- we ordered the garlic fried rice, bangus sisig, crispy pata, sinigang baboy, and bistek. The bangus sisig was pretty good, though not as good (or crispy) as I have had at other places like Max's. Crispy pata and the sinigang were hits, as expected, but I wish the sinigang had more meat + soup instead of being full of vegetables. Bistek was great, albeit a little too salty for my taste, but yummy nonetheless and I would still get it every time. I also ordered a black gulaman (no sago), which was too syrupy but better when I diluted with some more water. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday night and just had to wait for around ~20 mins for a table to open up. Servers were friendly, but because it was so busy, we had to flag them down a few times to get our waters refilled. I came here with some people that have never had Filipino food, and have never been to a Gerry's Grill, so we had to disclose that it gets a little *loud* with they have the bands playing at night, lol. We sat near the band, and as we were finishing up, they started playing. The music is super loud, and once they start singing, it's really hard to talk and hear what everyone else at the table is saying (but all the aunties and uncles around us continued talking as normal lol). All in all, Gerry's Grill is a nice place to go when you're craving some Filipino food. I would rather get takeout from here than Grill City. Be prepared for some loud music playing at the end of the week, I would probably avoid on these days if you are too tired or don't want to be overstimulated lol.

The food is good' & services.....well-organized setting & dining place. Its friendly environment makes you very attractive home!!!!

I came to dinner with my husband coworkers for a retirement party. We ordered a bunch of different food items. I felt the wait for food was a little long for how little customers early evening. There was little check ins on water refills during meal time. All food came out around the same time. Heads off to the chef. He/she did a great job. Everything tasted very good coming from a non Filipino palate. Great meal experience. Customer service on refills could be improved. Thank you, Chef!

When in Artesia we do lunch here. We just had 40 of us reserved for My Grandma Alice Memorial service reception. Great Masarap foodies. Also want to thank for their service. Steve our host was so helpful and took care of us in any thing we need. Even photo ops. They welcomed us ty so much Steve for your help

Today was my 4th time at Gerry's Grill! I have always been intimidated by Filipino food because I don't know how to read the menu or even know what's good. But I recently tried it about two years ago and I've been hooked! It's soo good! I've had many dishes in the past like the beef ribs, sinigang, beef kare kare, the squid dish, and more. Everything is always so delicious Food that I've ordered today... Chicken Inasal: One of the best chicken I've had! It's not dry and very flavorful. The dipping sauce pairs well with the chicken and I love the pickled carrots! Sizzling pork sisig: Probably my second time getting this dish! It's soo good! It's hard to describe this one, but it's like a crispy meat pieces? Don't forget to add an egg to make it creamy Garlic rice: My favorite rice to order! However, I feel like the garlic rice tasted way better and smelt more appetizing last time. Today, the rice was served abit cold and I couldn't smell the garlic as much. It's okay, I still enjoyed it Service: Everyone's so nice! I appreciate how fast they tried to be even when they're busy. It gets REALLY packed sometimes Parking: Hit or miss! Big parking lot but it can get packed

This place was suggested by my uncle who lives nearby. I have been to a few Filipino restaurants in this area, and this is one of my favorites now! Upon arrival, you check in using Yelp to be added on their waitlist, and we only waited a couple minutes. I was very surprised how packed it was on a Sunday night, which told me it must be good. I am half Filipino and am pretty picky with my Filipino food, but this was SO flavorful! We ordered Sinigang baboy, crispy pata, and halo-halo. The sinigang was super sour (just how I like it!), the crispy pata was perfectly crispy, and the halo-halo was so delicious!! The waiter was nice and very attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have our last meal before we left California.

Every time we visit, the food is always MASARAP! Servers are nice, friendly & helpful. Food portion is perfect to share for 2-3ppl. The restaurant is clean, always cozy. Great to enjoy good food with fellow kababayans! Came in at 6pm early dinner & no wait for seating. Can't wait for our next visit!
